Re: Full float axle oil leak
Yeah that seems like the only solution.
Is there not an oil seal on the market that could fill the gap without making up a metal adapter?

Full float axle oil leak
So I fitted a full float axle conversion a couple of weeks ago and now I have oil leaking from one of the wheels. It seams to be getting into the hub running through the bearings.
Has anyone els had this problem or know any way I could stop it?

Re: Project Bodge
Finally got it back on the road this week, cant belive it took me so long! Modified the rear bumper so the number plate is now slightly recessed. I think it looks abit better and is less likely to get smashed if i reverse into something. http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae304/CaptainWhiteStar/IMAG...

Re: Project Bodge
They're supposed to be pretty strong, but whatever I use if they catch on something solid they're going to get ripped off.
I'm still not too sure on how they look though. I think they look better on soft tops.

Re: Project Bodge
Weekly update time again  . Not got as far as i'd hoped due to some unscedualed welding on the rear arches, but there all sorted now. This caused alot of head scratching. There wasn't enough room in this hub for the oil seal :er: . Not sure what had happed to it in its past life but it turned o...
