I think you should deffinitely keep them. I wish i still had mine but they had to go so i could paint it. Plus they would be a right pain in the arse to remove.

The adapter should fit your manifold ok, but you may need to change the needle and spring to get it running correctly on your 1.3 engine.

I'v broken all of mine in the past. I just super glue them back together and there usually fine for about 6 months. Apart from the passenger side one, that seems to break ALOT!

I have got a cone cutter somewhere. I'll have to dig it out.
Yeah i'm quite wary of the axle bending. When i welded the perches i only did 10mm welds at a time and let it cool down inbetween.

If you can fabricate all the brackets yourself then it will just cost you the price of the springs, and maybe some longer brake lines and shocks. Getting hold of a set of springs can be quite difficult. You can get a new set but they cost around £450. Second hand sets dont come up very often but if ...
