Up date on airbag, light now sorted after some pondering over the Suzuki manual and some internet research. The tool is for plugging into the disconnected airbag plug so you can test the SDM for faults with out the fun of them going off when sticking a OHM meter across various terminal to check for resistances. Hi if you think you fixed it and haven't got access yo the EOBDll reader/reset tool. Disconnect the battery for over 30s this should clear the ecu. The car may do some strange stuff when you reconnect like the revs dieing when stopping. Mine did this the first couple of time i reset the ecu this way...

Yep looks like you have fixed the problem. My 2004 GV doesn't have a red led. My 2002 Gv convertible does but that has a selca aftermarket unit which now doesn't work, that unfortunately is a another story
