My brian is telling me that they're less likely to shear? Got them on my diffs but hexangon plugs on the Gearbox. Found that alittle time digging all the dirt out of the 1/2" square holes and warming the surounding area up with a blow tourch works wonders undid a treat the last time I changed ...

Use cardboard from a cereal packet, with some blue hylomar as a sealant have done that in the past on my old cars and havent had a problem. Instant gasket goo can have some strange reactions with oil and petrol.ROBBIE wrote:get some gasget paper from yer local motor factor an make 1

Hi Just reading your braking to one side problem, you may find that its nothing to do with the front brakes. but the problem possibly is with the opposite to the pull brake on the rear. I had a similar problems when I had a rear slave leaking, air in one side of the rear lines and the slave piston s...

Contacted a bearing supplier yesturday made me laugh a little as he miss quoted the 62 28 and the 63 22 bearings and quoted me in excess of £700 for the lot. He was a bit miffed when he requoted with the proper bearings for them to come out at £40

I want to rebuild my spare tbox as the one that is on the truck is getting quite loud, the radio is now being turned up more and more. Depending on what age your SJ is the strip down of the brakes in the haynes manuly may not resemble anything like what you have behined the hubs. My 92 samuri wasn't.
