Re: Haynes Manual

I leave my PC on with mail open 24/7 so if you send it for sure it will get to me galvinrick@gmail.com Thx for the tips on Front Prop uJs too from my other post. When it's not...

Re: 4wd funny grinding noise

Hey guys and girls So tried in 4L yesterday and the same noise  but seems to be less of it in low - guess as the wheels are not being driven with as much force as in 4H. Anyway - decided first point is to check the oil in the front diff - any leaks, not enough etc, check all the connections fro...

Re: 4wd funny grinding noise

Thanks - I think - Jordi. Like you say maybe confused it more. Haven't really tried it in 4L to see if it's the same problem - but will give it a test today. Like you said, 'coz it's only in 4H (and maybe 4L too) then I suspect something in transfer case on front. But will post more later to see if ...

4wd funny grinding noise

Hey guys - time for a bit more help for me stuck (not literally) here in Poland. Not sure if it's a big problem or not. Had tons of snow here in last few weeks so finally getting to use 4x4 on the Samurai (woo-hoo  ). However we have noticed a kind of grinding noise when using 4H. Seems to be c...

Re: VIN/CHASSIS NUMBER

Hey guys - thanks for the info - but seems the old owner has obliterated any sign of VIN in the normal places so will have to rely on the vehicle reg docs and assume the chassis number is right. If you find some details re VIN sequence Dom would be great - but sure it is Jap as having taken a calipe...

Re: New Owner with small problem

Hey guys Just got under the Zuk and looks like you guys were spot on with the caliper solution. Not only is the piston a bit rusty but all the seals etc are completely f@cked. Tried your pumping the brakes solution Henry and it takes so much pumping to even move the piston I've decided to take the c...

VIN/CHASSIS NUMBER

Where to 'F' is it ? Been trying to find this on my new Zuk - checked lots of websites who seem to give different views of where it is. Even got a (downloaded) workshop manual which seems to give another option. Trouble is we bought it from a guy who did a major refurb on it a few years back and it ...

Re: New Owner with small problem

Hey Dom/Henry  Thanks for the replies. Used to work the calipers (remember how they were now) on my first car - a knackered old Mini - so pretty happy to whip them out and have a look and see if I can get an overhaul kit somewhere in Poland. Like the idea to push the pistons in/out repeatedly H...
