Re: Should a wing be this hard to get off
I think i might do a max max style repair and get some plywood, cut it to shape, and see what it looks like. Its just that the rest of the bodywork is in crap condition and all i really need is something to keep the battery in place. I can't weld unfortunately, which would be good around the suzuki,...

Re: Should a wing be this hard to get off
Ah yes i see the others now, so the wing actually is the wheel arch aswell.
I don't really want to take this off then because at the moment at least it holds in the battery and a bit of plywood is keeping the water out.
Are good condition wings hard to come by?

Re: No brakes

Re: No brakes
When the fluid is low you get a warning light so unless the bulb was out, you will have been running about with the light on well before it became a problem. Basic rule of bleeding is always keep the pressure on the pedal when you tighten the nipple back up otherwise you will suck air back into the...

Re: No brakes
I put new brakes and pads in the sammy today, the piston was very hard to compress, and the bleed nipple snapped off, though i rethreaded it and put a new one in: http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac289/406executiveHDI/sammy%20brakes/cd1b384c.jpg http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac289/406executiv...

Should a wing be this hard to get off
Hi My sammy has a large rust hole on the drivers side wing, so i decided to take it out a while ago, but even after taking out all the bolts i couldn't get it off easily, i have not got an angle grinder right now so ended up using a dremel with cutting attachment. Here is the damage though: http://i...

Re: Leaky axle
the only reason i noticed it is that i was taking the axle off to paint it, the steering bolts seem to be all seized, and the drop links look like they would fail the mot.
Where is the best place to get these parts, i seen a seal kit on ebay at £80 but the drop links i could only see one.

Leaky axle
My brakes failed a while back, i took off the callipers last week, and havent got to look much at them till today, the pads are wore down to the metal, but I've also noticed the steering balls are leaking: http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac289/406executiveHDI/bde32f4d.jpg http://i908.photobucket....
