Re: Removed the front wings

Don't worry about the 406 screen i just used it as an example, i have had the reminder on them for a good while, the ones on ebay at the moment are just the ordinary dot matrix screens, the sat nav one actually is still a dot matrix just with a much higher resolution and IR receiver instead of butto...

Re: 1.6 Timing Belt

I didn't know these were a non interference engine, that makes them even more indestructible :D. Its a clean enough engine, the vitara i got it from didn't come from the seaside like all the others I've ever bought so the engine wasn't covered in various bits of marine biology, and it also got a bit...

SUPERB, thats a great job, thanks. What did you type in to get that? I had done both SJ and Samurai Wing but would only get the expensive new ones.
Thanks

1.6 Timing Belt

With the front end removed from my sammy i decided to look at the timing belt because i never looked at it when swapping the engine, but since i have no idea of the Donor vitaras mileage or how well it was service i think a timing belt swap would be best done: http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac28...

Re: Removed the front wings

mine are beyond repair, the rust has ate them apart completely, some ebay breakers are looking £40 per wing which is decent but they won't post to northern ireland.

Removed the front wings

The front end of my samurai has become very shabby recently, the bumper fell off, the wings were very rusty and the bonnet its not too bad just very dented, and the radiator is out of a nissan micra and something more permanent needs to be done for it. So i removed the front wings: http://i908.photo...

To bleed i w...

Re: No brakes

my cousin took a look at the brake calliper with the new bleed valve, and when tightening it up managed to snap it :bawling:
