Re: My New Car
My brother has a mk2 golf and said exactly the same thing, but he ain't gettin' his hands on this. The best part is that even though it has 150bhp, top speed of 135mph and a 0-60 of 8.5s, it's still cheaper to insure than my SJ

My New Car
Last night I bought an Audi A4 Avant 1.8T Quattro Sport. 1997 'R', 86,000 miles FSH, 2 owners.
It has 11 months MOT, no tax and is due a cam-belt change, but it only cost me £750.
The only pics I have are from the add on Auto Trader.

I was a bit bored so got a quote through royal mail, I have no idea how much a gear box weighs but 10Kg's to Namibia would cost from £115 and take 49 days or £188.30 and take 5 days

Re: Not running right, don't have a clue why!
I didn't do the head, it was done by a local mechanic, I'll try and find out tonight if he changed the bolts when he did it. On the plus side if it was because of something he did, the next head gasket will be free. Although he's told me if it goes again the engine will be too high compression to do...

The fastest I've ever got mine to was a speedo reading of 62 with the GPS reading 75.
That was down the steepest straight road in Norfolk.

Re: Not running right, don't have a clue why!
I put it in for an MOT on Friday, it turns out the head gasket has gone again after only 250 miles! I'll pull the engine apart this week to try and find out why.
