Cheers chaps. Right Been driving it round this afternoon and I've got it running pretty nice. But to me as your driving along going up through the gears I can still feel I touch of what I would describe as a regular hesitation. Only when the engines under load, not if your just sat there revving it....

evening been busy working on my spare carb, stripped cleaned and changed all the seals and oil and new needle. IMG_0224.jpg carb all sorted and changed over. IMG_0226.jpg just a closer view, bit cleaner than the old one IMG_0230.jpg fired her up, took a while to fill it up, but once she started and ...

May be the rubber seal isn't for the top, it's way to thick. So should there be a gasket, because there isn't another that size in the kit.
Ok, so after reading up there shouldn't be a gasket between the pot and carb, so wondering why there was one on it that looked original. ?

evening, could any one point me in the right direction, i bought a gasket and seal set, I've been sorting the seals out on my hif44 carb, is the seal in the picture for the pot off the top, cos the one that came off was paper? , and should there be a seal or washer on the top of the brass part that ...

Anton Spend the time on it, fit it you never know you may need it one day.
I've ordered a gasket/seal kit, and a bfm needle and some damper oil. Just got to wait for them to come now, hopefully by this time next week I'll have it running tidy.. Fingers crossed

I like it, they are just 15mm copper pipe clips. Couldn't think of any where else to put it without it looking stupid lol
