Another update... somehow i completely forgot about an earth... for some reason my right hand side cluster works fine without an earth attached to the cluster but my left side needs one.... ?? anyway problem averted :D will wire them all through properly tomorrow and then i shall be on the road .......

Another Update... I held the Rack Gear down on the carb with a spanner and this bought the idle down to a reasonable level and doesnt seem to have effected the mixture to make it run differently which is good. i am not too sure what it does mind you. i noticed there was a small adjusting bolt which ...

What carb are you running? If standard could it be something to do with the idle up system? Try disconnecting it, usually a green or brown plug, one is the fuel stop solenoid and the other is the idle up but sometimes the colours are the opposite way around just to confuse matters lol im running st...

it it is the wrong way round it will stick out of some sides/corners on one side and leave a gap on others. If it lines up with the outline of the head all the way round its on the right way round.
