Re: not a build thread as yet...but...

Hey Alex, Just stopped by and saw that you had a project going. Just from the looks of the last page that VW is really nice. The paint looks great too. Haven't seen one modified like that since the 70's. Haven't read the entire build sorry if you covered this already but what are you going to use it...

Re: Zuk on 38's

YES! Well done Terry! Still got the Texas plate lol. Brake lights might need a tweak and wondering why the front seat was different? Dirty jeans? Love it, so glad she lives, sounds amazing too. Alex Hi Alex, So it seems that you have caught me once again with some things that need fixing. :er: I wi...

Re: Zuk on 38's

That's how SJ modding should be done. I've been waiting to hear that engine run for, what, over a year, two maybe? Thanks for the compliment Edward, Can't believe you missed the video of the motor running on the very first page. Glad that the thread was interesting enough to keep you checking in af...

Still need to replace the bent front housing. The inside will take me quite some time to finish up to get it the way I want ...

Re: Swift GTi engine advice

Atchi, Very nice work and thanks for sharing the info. Have been over on team swift for quite some time tring to read through all the different parts that can be swapped. Got to say that a guy can get a real headache after a while. You have picked out several of the parts that I had question on and ...

Re: Scottie's Zuke

Sorry Scott,

Didn’t mean to Hi Jack your thread. Of coarse any info you want to share is always welcome.

Thanks for answering my question on the j20a motor. Nice that you were able to get the motor for next to nothing after selling the donor.

Re: Scottie's Zuke

Not sure what a J20a is, guessing some type of motor. I agree some of these mods can snowball into taking way too much time. Getting a backup vehicle would be less stressful on you in my opinion. Just started to gather some info on a hybrid motor that I would like to build. Using: G13a short block (...
