As its not going to be used for extreme off road, just a runabout, i think i can live with the standard car. I can't access the rear from the front seats very well, and i do want my little ones in the family to ride in the back. I will be selling off any parts i remove, including the bumper as well....

Hello...recently got my 95 Samurai, not likely to do much off roading but i like Suzukis. Not keen on modern cars incl. 4x4's....they all seem so girly, with their curvy bodywork and all mod cons. Most likely will be just using it for day to day and prowling about on the seafront when its sunny haha...

Thanks for your input Dan...I was thinking more of using the front anchoring system from another vehicle, but not a full mechanism....I did take into account the roll hoop, so would retain the above door velcro fixings. I am just looking to see if the existing type of top can be adapted.

Been wondering if its possible to have a soft top that is retractable from the front...obviously the adaptation would have to be custom made, but if the side panels could be zip/velcro removeable and the front anchor taken from another make of vehicle i believe it would be possible.
