Halfords will have it, and if they don't they can mix you the same up. You'll never get new paint to match old exactly though.

I bought white paint to do the wheels when i get some tires, but then decided black would be better. Today i painted the bull bar black but i think the wheels as well will be to much?? it now works so when the button is in and high beam is on the light will come on, this has solved the relay kicking in when the button is off as well. Dash is back together and i can now move onto other things on list! Thanks for all the help

But i'm not sure that would stop the relay energising when i slowly release the stalk from flash position.

yeah the light is in the switch, i'll go down the garage now and see if that works, will that a photo of the switch aswell. thanks

i've just put a Midland alan 78 in mine, its seems fine so far but i've only tested it on my dads Beta that was at the end of the garden haha i have a retro looking one but just wanted something that would sit out the way, with a scan feature. Think i paid 30 something 2nd hand off ebay.

that is the problem, but i think its the live that come through the high beam switch until switched thats causing it. wonder if i try and wire the bulb differently i could get it to work. I went out with the intention to put everything back together with out the earth on the switch, but then saw tha...
