Only 1 lobe is worn and its at the rear of the engine, sounds the same as yours, Heavily scored with parallel lines :(

Thanks for the feedback, I will check the cam again but The lobe of the cam did not seem to bad, but there are deep score marks on the lobe sort of like a set of stairs!
