The car is in Thirsk, but the big issue there is parents rent out a property in the garden - the bloke's an old fart and had a right moan on about noise... So, shackles and bushes are done - and the lumpy idle is almost sorted. Found the hole in the exhaust so there's that to patch but that's not a problem. This problem is the arches... Bad, bad and worse. Love to do a virtual lift, but have neither the tools nor expertise. So what does anyone advise? ...

1 and 2 done and it's better - idles now!

Still rough though, lumpy across the Rev range.

Tried the carb... Though fuel filler plate is well and truly stuck down...
