Learner in Leeds

Hey all, Got my SJ as a Summer project, want a road going fun truck. Never done much in terms of heavy mechanics aside from minor jobs on my cars (up to about brake pad changes) so wanted something fun for off and on road that I could have a go at learning some restoration on. Dropping the SJ

My SJ is on lift shackles from previous owner - I don't think they're necessary and as you all know they have various downfalls...

So where can I get standard shackles, or do I just do away with the shackles altogether?

Also, what do I need to watch out for when doing the switch?

Ok, so maybe I'm being an idiot - to me 'wheel nuts' are just badly named bolts like on standard cars.

I'll find out for sure when I drive back to the SJ to jump start it... Great start!
