Hiya, can anyone help?
Tried to remove front o/s driveshaft seal.
Is there a special tool needed to remove the hub?
Took the small plate off behind the hub centre, there are 4 holes. Is there a tool which goes into these holes and releases the hub.
I'd be grateful for any help.
Thanks.
Jody.

Re: Front suspension springs
Phoned dealer.
They don't have any in, and it will be approx 3 weeks and £120.00 plus VAT.
Off to the breakers it is then.

Re: Front suspension springs
I can't believe it. The front coil springs on my 2001, 1.6 are a dealer only part. I can get the springs for any other model, anywhere, but not the 1.6. Thought this would have been the easiest one to get them for as the 1.6 is the most popular one on the roads, or all I seem to spot. Oh well, it's ...

Front suspension springs
One of my springs has bust on my 2001, 1.6, 3 door Grand Vitara. I can't find a replacement on ebay and my 2 local car spares shop can't find a listing for one either. Every other engine size except the 1.6.
Can anyone tell me if any of the other models fit?
Thanks
Jody

Thanks for the information.
You couldn't give me the name / part number of the parts, could you? and I can order them.
Thank you for the help.

Re: Doors refusingto stay open
Still got no answer to my question. Does anyone with a Grand Vitara (mines a 2001 model), know if the doors have the mechanism that prevents them slamming on you when trying to get in. It is a major problem, when I am trying to get my dad from his wheelchair into the Vitara, the door keeps swinging,...

Re: Doors refusingto stay open
I did have an SJ 410 and SJ 413. When I bought the 410 it was pink with Winnie the Poo on the bonnet, and Tigger on either door. Being a 6 ft 6, 21 stone biker it did wonders for my street cred. I then camo'd it, it was lovely, til my friend rolled her, ( 3 times through the air she rolled and 3 whe...
