Ok , Further information , in 2wd everything fine. In 4h or 4l car locks up at low speed 2 or mph parking speeds and depressing clutch makes no difference. Car will drive fine in 4h or 4l once you have got it going .
Guessing it's not a transfer box issue but more likely to be a drive shaft problem ?

Hi all, I'm a newbie and hav just purchased a 04 plate xl7 v6 manual done 54k .Had the car just one day . Notice clutch biting point very low on pull away but a lot easier once up and running .
