Hi guys I've finally sorted it out many thanks for all your suggestions greatly appreciated it turned out to be the inlet manifold gasket. I sprayed carb cleaner on it and it revved up a little so I changed the gasket and woo hoo it's running on all 4. I can't believe it all this time of keep settin...

Hi guys thank you for your posts I've done compression test all pots are within the same range I was wondering well after talking to rhino ray he suggested maybe it's my distributor??? Any ideas and prices please. Regards Graham

Hi I have a vitara jx4 u 1.6 8v w reg (2000) soft top It runs not to bad but when you take off the second HT lead the engine don't stutter like the rest I've changed plugs and leads and distributor cap and dizzy pin Could it be fuel pump ?? Also it ticks over at 1500 rpm when started cold takes ages...
