Thanks I was worried that it would need welding underneath as that is now beyond me, sat down welding is fine :lol:

Hi all made a mistake with the date of mot thought I had a month+ but had 2 days left managed to get a pre mot done main fault both side of boot rusted through. Can I weld these up from inside? Are repair panels available? Does any one know of a welder who can travel to Didcot rather than the purcha...

Hope that is enough info diodes have to go in the correct way silver/white stripe towards buzzer make sure buzzer makes a noise when connected to 12V. Think I have put a photo up but if it is not there will try again.

Used to make these for minis many years ago, all it is 2 diodes and a 12V buzzer and an earth connection. If you know someone who can help with the way diodes are fitted that would help. Connect each one to the wire that goes live on each side, diodes prevent one side switching other on. Hope that h...

no haynes manual for my 1998 jx4 which one would be closest

Wondering which manual to get from e-bay for my 1998 Vitara T reg 1.6 petrol JX 4 U hard top, only just got her and of course it has to be from a change over year? looks as if Haynes don't do one so which would be the closest and most use. Thanks

Just going to buy my first vitara not even sure of model etc that may sound odd (that's me all over) but need a cheap car just to get back to UK as our last one is scrap now in France. In Spain and the vitara is close available and RHD and seller need to get rid of. 1998 89K petrol 1.6 can't see any...
