Help with a seat recliner ?
:S: I’m looking for a recliner for my 1985 Metal dash SJ410. The part no is 85210-80132-281 “RECLINING ASSY, RH”. I’ve tried searching the part no online and although listed in megazip etc they are shown as discontinued. I’ve attached a picture that shows the existing old recliner attached to the se...

DSP / LSPV for Japanese built SJ410?
Hi, I have a 1985 Japanese built SJ410V that is in need of a replacement DSP / LSPV. The part number according the SJ410 parts catalogue is 51950-83120. I can't find these anywhere online, so thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has one, knows a supplier with one gathering dust on a shelf or of an ...

Re: CORRECT WHEEL CYLINDERS
9 years later and I'm having the same problem. I bought a pair of wheel cylinders for my 1985 SJ410 only to find they're too short (50mm long) whereas the ones currently on the car are longer at 55mm long. I'll try a set of the ones you recommend and fingers crossed they fit!

Where to buy SJ410 King Pins, King Pin Bearings and Shims UK
Hi, I'm looking to find somewhere in the UK I can buy SJ410 King Pins, a set of Kin Pin Bearings (top and bottom) and a King Pin Shim Kit. I searched the forum, but the links I found were 10 years old and didn't seem to work for me. While I'm asking, I also need a oil seal for the drivers side front...

Re: MOT fixes
That makes sense - after market headlamps (maybe from a mini at a guess) - I’ve got side lights in the bumpers too. Always thought it was a bit weird having two sets. The headlamps are the ones it came with so must’ve been changed some way along the line. Anyway, that’s another mystery solved!

Re: MOT fixes
Think I’ve sourced the side light fittings for the headlamps. Found these on eBay after quite some searching - they look right so will see when they arrive if they fit. Re: MOT fixes
Thanks for the tips. My tinkering level is not that high. Happy to play with the electrics, change brakes, hoses etc, door locks seats an re-trimming etc... not really dabbled with the larger scale bits like pulling the steering apart though. While I’m here, I’ve been going over the electrics of the...

MOT fixes
So my SJ410 has failed it’s MOT 🙁 It needs new brake hoses - ok no problem. It also needs the knuckle joints repairing or replacing at the front. Apparently they’re oozing too much stuff and there’s grease and gloop everywhere. I’ve been looking around to see what I need to get, but am still not qui...
