Unboxed the new radiator. Will be fitting a power steering oil cooler to the radiator as well.

Re: Bracket fitting to Engine block
If M10x1.25 doesn't seem to be the right fit, it's possible that you might need a different thread size. You could try checking the threading of the existing bolts or consulting a mechanic or hardware store for assistance. Alternatively, you might want to look into getting a thread gauge to accurat...

Samurai - Upgrade to Alternator Bracket
I am intending to upgrade the existing Alternator with an 80 amp version.
Bracket will require modification to ensure a fit.
Plan to remove one leg and move it inwards allowing some tolerance in dimensions.
Anyone had to do similar? All comments welcome. Thanks.

Power Steering Column modification
I have read that in order to shorten the column, having fittted a Jimny steering box, one has to drill out the 2 nylon plugs. Understand that should then allow movement up and down the column. Once optimum length is determined, what else needs to be undertaken? All comments appreciated. Thanks. 2024...

Re: 1991 Santana Samurai
Bit more sorting out done.
1. Location of the Volvo electric pump. Ideally to keep power and hose lines short adjacent to the steering box. Does not seem to work at all. So on opposite side fixed to the jack position.
2. Tried preliminary position for auxiliary fuse box.

80 amp circuit breaker and oil catch tank positioned.
Before anyone asks the question a blue tank was delivered. Red would have been preferred.

Re: 1991 Santana Samurai
Some positive activity today. Decided to go with the Volvo electric power steering system with an oil cooler behind the radiator. Had purchased some connectors for the heavy duty cables which I fitted. Will be using an 80amp breaker in the circuit. Fitted a connector to the existing grey/blue wire o...
