Yea i deffinatly wouldn't drive it with shot wheel bearings. it may just be a case of tightening up the nuts, either with a big adjusterbal spanner, or a 50mm socket! but they are an easy job to replace, take about 30 min. there isn't a guide on the DIY page. but basicly: 1.jack up, remove wheel 2. ...

I think with SPOA you can easily fit 33" posably as big as 35" I only have 2" lift and i run 302 tyres, but if you go to big you will start poping drive shafts.

i am with quinn-direct, never had insurance on the SJ with them, but have had all my other cars with them, rely helpfull, dont add on aditional charges if you change your car (which i seem to to about once every 6month) up until a month ago i had a 2ltr alfa romeo gtv it worked out at about £900 a y...

everything will fit, its just a case of making it :twisted:

with regards to the fuel injection, assuming you'r right and they do just use a modified block you should be able to find a inlet manifold with a carb fitted thus removing the need to fanny around wiring up ECU's injectors etc.

I run a 1.3 with a nikki carb, 410 t-box and 30" muddies. i get about 80mile to £20. SJ's are not the most fuel efficient, combine the fact that they are aerodynamicly similar to throwing a breeze block down a wind tunnel. my best fuel saving advice is sit behind lorrys, the drag created by a l...
