have you replaced the dizzy cap, as if you are getting a poor contact on there it could loose it down the HP lead resulting on it not firing on that cylinder? have the HP leads been replaced or spark plugs they could be faulty resulting in it not foring on a cylinder.

Fancy doing the body work on my SJ i can curently put my foot through one of the rust holes on my rear arches! :|

That is a very cool looking SJ.

You have about the same amount oof rust as mine does, altho i can only just weld, and it is a very bad weld! nothing like learning on the job! :mrgreen:

i ran my sj on roadies for a year and got on ok, altho i never tryed them at wagtail, will be puttin my 30" machos on soon :P

The starter will only spin if there is enough juice left in the battery. It does sound as tho you have killed them both, i have killed 3 startes last year but never managed to finish off a altanator! :lol: Give it all a good wash, get in there with tones of WD40 and check all connections before you ...

Does anybody know what the pitch is on the wheel studs? I know they are smaller than just standard bolts and I need to get some new ones!

They crop up on ebay everynow and again, a good motorfactors should be able to help!

if you get time fancy taking a few piks and doing a write up for the DIY page? saying how to do it, any problems you encountered etc. Would be a grate help to others in your position in the future! 8-)
