Re: pics of me trip out sunday

Of course, it’s not strong by SJ standards, and my uncle did manage to disintegrate one going too fast over a hump back bridge, but they are stronger than their reputation... the fibre glass round the nose is a couple of inches thick. They don’t take to trees as well as an SJ though... I have hit tr...

Re: pics of me trip out sunday

Roll? What makes you think they roll, mine never... oh yeah there was that time it rolled over on the roundabout, and the time it took off on the motorway, and those other times it took off... yeah they go fast enough as standard, but it doesn’t hurt to make them extra dangerous... does it?. I didn’...

Re: suzuki club event

Damn those ruts. Yeah, I’ll have to head up and play at Core. Hmmm, I’ll have a look into camping, I’ve organised a few client entertainment events, and might be able to sort something. I won’t have time until after the move chaos though. I’m going back for reasons of accommodation, work and friends...

Re: pics of me trip out sunday

Well, I was expecting you to have a go at me for my cruel accusations :jawdrop: I was not expecting you to post a picture of that exact hot hatch! Well I’m afraid that hot hatches don’t really butter my bread (more crap on by toast) but I still think your zook is the badgers tadger. You have to bear...

Re: pics of me trip out sunday

That is a mean looking zook. You really don’t look like you should be driving it though. You look like you’d be more at home stepping out of a hot hatch with dice, tinted windows and a speed hump scraping body kit. You do have a colour coordinated hat though. Driving over the scrap car looks fun, I’...

Re: suzuki club event

Yeah, I’m up for it. I am moving back to Hampshire next week, only about 7 miles from Chichester, so I might be able to do some in-person arranging and campsite sorting that end. If it looks like it’s going to be in the Swindon area, then I would be up for travailing back West to meet up and play on...

Re: I don't think this is supossed to happen!

That looks an inconvenient place for your axle to disassemble itself. Good that you had a hydraulic jack with you, but it looks like that farm (hi-lift) jack is left with its handle in gonad popping mode! :zap: With the handle left back the weight of the vehicle can push the jack back down, cranking...

Re: THE HUMAN WINCH

Ah I remember the luxury of a nice double garage full of tools. Shame it got blown up by oxy-acetylene welding cylinders! It made the national news. Anyway, that is indeed a generous offer, and useful to bikers like myself who get confused when working on 4 wheeled things. Which part of the country ...

Re: some recovery gear for my sj

No problem. I think we are on about four times you’ve towed me out. I think I should point out that it wasn’t me personally that was the anchor but my Sammy. I’m a large chap, I work out  and eat plenty of sandwiches... but I’m not quite chunky enough to be used as a winch anchor. I have one...

OK, I’m back home now and can confirm my attendance. Need to know when and where to meet up :?: Or else I’ll have to just drive around Kennet listening for the noise of SJ engines!
