Well as you may have seen, I've been off the scene for a couple of years, but I'm back and started to play again.
My first trip out took in some lanes, (or green roads as they now seem to be called) around the Yorkshire / Lancashire border in the Huddersfield sort of area, so on my doorstep really.
I took my niece out with me, and it's the first time she has ever been in my truck, and she loved it, even though she did admit to a few sweaty palm moments
There was just three trucks. I was in my Samurai, a guy I used to go out with in the Jimny, and errr, a guy in a Disco! (sorry).
Even after being laid up for a while, the Samurai never missed a beat and cleared every obstacle effortlessly. The Jimny had just one point where it got a little stuck and stayed on the "easier" routes if available, and the Disco just missed probably the most difficult lane out, but it was pretty standard, and it is quite a tough lane.
Hope you like the pics.

Looks like good times are here again
Beautiful countryside you have there, as an aside, I heard on Radio 4's Farming Today that there's a national shortage of dry stone wall masons,
so if you know a lad who wants to earn good money and likes the outdoors..............
