Right I took my rear right drum off and It needs new shoes and cylinders but I seen my shoes on it naw have the thing for the handbrake a bit confused plus the rear break lines on my zook it Ts of straight from the braided hose pipe but my other 410 axle 100% is a 410 axle doesn't T off it goes to one cylinder and then goes to the other cylinder :er:

I will upload pics tmoz to explain

Going to jack the rear up tmoz and take the prop of and all of the rear brakes as the are all fucked and make sure it is a 410 diff and axle

And I will need to get new shoes and cylinders I found this any good

All my diagrams show the pipes going to one cylinder then across to the other. IE pipe in-out and pipe in-bleed nipple.
However when searching for cylinders it showed the later model 410 using only one type. IE pipe in-bleed nipple. So assume this has a "Tee" fitted.

I would establish exactly what you have fitted now before ordering.

Here's what I found

I also believe the shoes with the handbrake lever are also slightly larger than the ones without.
Best you get the tape measure out

Seems like you have a later model 410 back axle by the sounds of it. According to the brakes website the handbrake on the rear drums was 1987 onwards (E reg>)

Nicked the shoe info now

Sounds to me that you have a spanish axle fitted and your spare one is jap.
Is the spare axle the one off the sj originally?

Are the later models all Santana's or did they still make them in Japan as well.

Sounds good to me

Looks like they built them in Spain and Japan to get around import limits :er:
