Andy's latest toy
My mate Andy (not from here) deals in classic cars as a living. OK he failed with the rust bug but woo hoo lookie here. One of three made by V Max something or other. Tax free, years MOT, 125bhp from a tuned 1400 engine and weighing less than a Kleenex. It is so low the exhaust snapped in half as he tried to get over a speed bump at my place..we fixed it there and then. He's going to get the body sorted and resprayed and use it as a promotional car for his company. He says he wants me to drive it with white Alpinestar overalls and my Simpson lid lol! Cool cool car.
I had a ponder over the GT33 logo. A take on the GT40 as the Mini is 33" high

Re: Andy's latest toy
That's ace and would be awesome fun to drive but at the same time the sort of car I would not feel safe to be in without at least a Bhoop cage.
There used to be a mini roadster similar to that (body wise at least) where I live, haven't seen it around for a very long time though.

Re: Andy's latest toy
Its a nice looking car and i should image ultra quick due to the power to weight ratio, but not practical in any shape or form.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I be it's awesome fun to drive and sticks to the road like glue, but if it comes unstuck you really, REALLY need some hoops behind the seats.ScottieJ wrote:That's ace and would be awesome fun to drive but at the same time the sort of car I would not feel safe to be in without at least a Bhoop cage.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
