blocked oil way or warn pump?

So the new lump has and intermittent
Tapet tappin and ticking. The engine has around 80k on it.

It's the exhaust side rear rocker. On piston 4.

I ran the engine for a short period then once off I removed the rocker cover and were the oil has filled up in the
Head there's about 50% less on the exhaust side
Compared to the inlet side.

I'm thinking there's a blockage maybe?

The oil light does linger for around a second or two on start up.

You sure its not the little core plug on the back that some exhaust gas gets back through. Comes out just behind the fuel pump?

Behind the fuel pump? This lump was an spi lump originally.

I don't know if it still has this little airway but I guess it may. The sound reflects off the bulkhead and sounds like tappets.

Oh right ill have a look.

I've put my ear to a screwdriver on the rear of the rocker
Cover and it definitely sounds like the rear exhaust rocker.

I'm going to whip the sump of again and check the pick up pipe
I've modded. I'm wondering if the o ring has been damaged or there's a pin hole in the weld that's causing a loss of suction?

Oil pump for suzuki is 200 notes!

I'm enjoying the torque from the new lump. Loads better on
Hills.
