hi all my plans r to get some bigger/wider wheels n tyres for the sj in a few month so am getting my body on my sj all sorted n ready for paint in a few weeks for mot hopefully n don't want to paint it n then cut it all to bits so will do it now, will I need to cut out the archers , I want some 33s on eventually , I have spoa on a 410 with 32mm spacers whats peoples thorts on whats best thanks

I don't know if you would have to cut much but you would probably have to trim the bulkhead.

If you are doing the work on the body and are happy to do the work on the arches then why not go back to SPUA and cut the arches out?

Well worth it for extra stability, lower centre of gravity, and improved handling.

Thanks dan i read through your build last week mate mint lyk , it was yours n scotts the lad wof the blue sj wheels n tyres i was lookin at but couldnt find what rims they off , thers only one thing dan i carnt weld or have a welder i was hoping they woul fit wif just some miner cutting lol as for the spoa mate i bought the sj wif the intensions of just offroading it so wernt bothered i read a few threads on here and noticed alot of people arnt a big fan of them lol but once i get it all sorted and a mot on it i will decied then , thanks mate

Just try it. I would imagine they will at least foul the bulkhead at lock though.

You could try put a sheet of wood or similar against the outer edge of your current tyres and line it up so it sticks out as much as a 33 would.

Can always redrill the perches too to move the axle forwards a bit. Easy enough to do.

Mine and Ferris' are 15x10s off a fat boy vitara.

Dans and Scotties are aftermarket Weller and/or Mangels.
