Rear Wheel Bearings

Post by Stats696 » Wed Jul 28, 2010 10:34 pm

I am in need of a new rear wheel bearing for my SJ413, is there a part supplier anyone recommends?

Is this a job where it will be best to change both rear bearings while your at it?

Many thanks

Hi

I got my bearings from a suzuki main stealer.

Honestly if your going to the trouble of doing one, do the otherside too.

A fairly simple job once you have got the shafts out, and if you have a bearing press.

Yeah i'd say it's best to do both at the same time, if you dont it's pretty much certain the other side will fail shortly afterwards.

Just go to a motor factors and they should be able to do a kit for about £40 with a new bearing, spacer, oil seal and locking collar

here's a 'how to' guide if you haven't got a press
