Just introduced myself and already I come with a question.
Begin next year I'm, in to buy a Grand Vitara.
What I want: 2.4 (High) Executive in the color Purple, if possible an auto-box. No diesel.

What are the things I have to look for? Anything about the four wheel drive system (Reliable or not?) Since I never drove a 4x4. Since I never drove a Suzuki either.
Rust?
Oil consumption?
Specific short comings?
Anything else?

The early 2.4 has a bit of a poor reputation, first for cracked heads and then for cracked blocks, they are supposed to be OK from 2010 onwards. This thread has some info:
