Some had removed the engine check light.. whoever designed the speedo cable access needa to be shot! Any tips? Cheers
Re: Fluctuating idle when cold
Right finally got the speedo cable back in and found the right dianostics plug next to drivers side headlight, cel flashes once and then twice quickly together but it does that on repeat meaning theres no codes is this correct? Cheers
Re: Fluctuating idle when cold
Code 12 means no fault found, unfortunately that doesn't mean much because the number of checks done for the CEL are quite limited. Your best bet is to check all round the injection and exhaust system for leaks and replace the O2S. If you have a duty cycle meter or scope then you can check the Idle Speed Controller duty cycle, that might give you a clue as to what is happening.

Re: Fluctuating idle when cold
Is it possible for the idle speed controller to only throw up an issue when running cold? Ill have to look into a duty cycle meter. Ill change the o2 sensor the exhaust looks original and fairly rusty so doubt its been changed in awhile. Could my issue be with a temperature sensor maybe?
