1.9td conversion. Bell housing problems please help??

1.9td conversion. Bell housing problems please help??

Hi there I am new to all this. I have just purshsed a Suzuki sj with a 1.9td engine and a ldv gear box. The problem I have is that the bell housing is hitting the prop shaft and has now smashed a hole in it. I'm wondering if anyone has any info that could solve it or has come across this problem before, I was wondering if a spring over axel could help for clearance or do they sell adaptor plates to fit the old 413 gear box? If anyone as any info that would be extremely helpful. Thanks josh

Hi I think most run spring over when doing that conversion. But Im sure there are a couple of people that can convert the sammie box, rockwatt on here being one
