Re: Leaving :(
Discos are well comfy with loads of space, but totally useless of road if the going gets a bit rough. I got rid of mine and went to a Jimny
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

Re: Leaving :(
Donesnt mean you have to leave. Most here are interested
In anything thats got an engine in it
These are very good vehicles and the tđ5 lump is a good engine.
Lovely on long journeys and loads of space in them.
But do check for rust, no matter how good they say it is. Rear
Chassis rot is common on these. Starts around the rear shocks and travels to the rear. Steering box leaks, wheel bearings and leaking sunroofs. Check the windows all round work fine without clunking or Skipping. The regulators are a common problem they strip teeth or the rivets fail in the centre. Wheel bearings can wear which is
Normal on anyvehicle and they are very easy to change once youve undone the crazily tight crown nut. But when the wheel bearing is failing it can trigger the abs sensor and can create a fault called 'the 3 amigos ' which is 3 warning lights on the dash. Once its on
It has to be cleared with a code reader.
Best of luck with the auction
