Strange (bad strange) noise at exactly 66mph? :/

This has bugged me for a while now but really has no impact on the car so I haven't thought about it too much up until today, at exactly 66mph no more or no less my engine makes a nasty high ish pitched humming/whining noise

and I often have to go 1mph above or below just because it feels harsh to the car

any ideas why? I like to think of it as Suzuki's version of the delorian's 88

But 66, how? That's a luxury to me!

just can't understand how it's so specific? Almost as if it's a frequency vibration thing that only happens at 66

Is it when you have the stereo on? Might be a high pitched frequency that only us youngun's can hear, I quite often get a high pitch whine from the speakers - I can hear it, nobody else I ask can!

Surely if it was engine related it should make the noise at the same engine rpm in other gears?

66mph is a pipe dream for my Suzuki!

It confuses me when people say they can't get up to a decent speed in their suzukis, something must be up if that's the case, gearing or tuning.

Even my old 970cc on 31s would eventually get up to 70mph and with the 1.6 and 33s it'll hit 80mph and it's only got the reduction of a 410tbox in high ratio, it's still on 3.7 diffs.

yeah it's a really odd sound but only happens in 5th at 66 not with other gears at the same rpm that's why I'm so confused, fastest I've had my zook was 89mph the other day and it felt like it was going to fall to bits, even tilted my mirrors down haha!

And no it's not to do with the stereo as I used to hear it back before I put my radio in, now I just drown out all the noise generated at 70+ with some decent pioneer speakers and a slightly excessive 10" sub haha

The Jimny tops out at 75mph, sits comfortable at 65 though.
