No experience of su's personally as i went for the webber swap but both are massive improvements over a stock carb and theres a noticable throttle response difference.

I'll change just for the throttle response haha it lags so much, sometimes almost 2 seconds haha

Will this carb work? And what adaptor will I need, haven't swapped a carb before :S

Yeah that's the one you want. Have a look in the engine section, there is a sticky all about su carbs
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good
