Avon Ranger ATT tyres?

Post by dan00001 » Thu Jul 14, 2016 4:47 pm

I'm after a full set of all terrain tyres, 235/75/15 and have come across the Avon Ranger ATT tyres for a decent price of £64 fully fitted,

I have looked at a few reviews and they seem good but I thought I would ask about them on here first.

So what's your thoughts on these as a budget tyre?

Thanks.

The Dunlop Grandtrek looks to have a more substantial tread than the others, so out of the two I would choose the Dunlops.

Have you looked at the BF Goodrich AT's?

I think most of us on here run MTs as they last a long time on light suzuki's, as long as you go for something that isn't too aggressive like maxxis bighorns etc they work well on road as well.

Thanos guys,

I have mud tyres at the moment with decent tread but the side walls are starting to crack so don't trust them on the road, especially with my girlfriend in the car.

I have a spare set of wheels so think I will stick the mud tyres on the spare set but to be honest, I think all terrain tyres will do me for what I will use the truck for.

Bf goodrich are a little bit more than I wanted to pay but, I haven't made my mind up yet, I'm traveling 100 miles to west wales in August so have a few weeks to make my mind up yet.
