Throttle position sensor, Where to buy cheaper??

Hi All,

I need to get a throttle position sensor for my 95 1.3 Sj, most other makes are around the £30 mark but could only find a couple for the SJ for over £100!!!?? Any one know why and where else I get a cheaper one!!!? many thanks... :er:

Have you tried a motor factors? My local, gone now :cry: , used to try loads of suppliers to get me a good deal
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

If they confirm that it has the TPS still on it, which it looks like it does, then that would fit!

The only for the injection Maruti Gypsy might be the same. I can probably get those. Has it got a part/code number on it?

Have you confirmed that it is faulty?

I've put the fuse in to see if there are any codes but they are all fine, there is no code, just the all clear code!?! Think I'll have to check all the hoses and see if there's a leak to why it runs so fast on start up from cold!! The plot thickens....
