Thanks for the info fellas appreciate it. So would i be making a bad choice to braze up the return pipe when i put su on?

Yes it would be a bad mistake and would kill the pump! Just plumb it straight into the return line to the tank like it's supposed to be with an SU carb.

Basically, leave the pump and hoses how they were standard.... lol
The small outlet for fuel overflow on the SU just needs to go to a low point on the vehicle.
