Grand Vitara Gear Box Prolem

Hi

I have the above vehicle problems with changing gear, it is really tight. Today I went to it and could not get ant gears at all when the engine was running, switched off engine and it then went into gear, started engine but then could not change gear again.

Any ideas

Sounds like the clutch is dragging.
