TEMPERATURE SENSOR

HAD A FAULT READING TEMPERATURE SENSOR WHICH WASNT REALLY A PROBLEM HOWEVER I GOT A NEW SENSOR AND FITTED IT BUT NOW THE TEMPERATURE GUAGE IS READING HIGH ,, ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED ...TED

What vehicle is this? Is it the coolant or fuel temp sensor. Has it come up on your obd code?

Need more details about the vehicle please, model and engine would be benificial.

If its an old samurai or Vitara then there are a number of different resistance sender units available so if the wortng resistance is fitted then the gauge will read incorreclty.
