hi, doing brake shoes on the weekend. haven't done the before.
Do i need a pullers to get back hub off or will a hammer knock it off?
anything else I should be aware of?
Thanks Graham

Re: Shoes
It depends. I made a slide hammer to remove them and halfshafts as they can be stubborn sometimes. best thing to do is to leave the wheel on, undo the 4 bolts and kick the wheel off.
Re: Shoes
If you haven't done the job before you may want to take a photo (digital) of the brake layout once you have removed the drum. Print it for reference because it's easy to forget where the different springs go and how they are routed.
