The V8 Panda...
Re: The V8 Panda...
Near standard. Perhaps just about standard. It will be used for trialing

Re: The V8 Panda...
it should look good with the tyres tucking in the arch's as they wont be too big
Re: The V8 Panda...
Managed to get a little bit more done today. Got the cut down chassis (90") and tacked it together
Rolled outside in the lovely snow...
And popped the body on to see what it looks like....
You tell me what you think
To me, obviously the front wants to come down/back go up a few inches. Apart from that it sits pretty well. The front needs a bit chopping of the front, then i can build a bumper up from the chassis. The transmission tunnel needs to be cut out, the widest part of the bell housing is about 17". Hopefully i can sit it low so i might still be able to get some "wide arsed" seats in there.
Next plan will be to break the tack welds, and weld it all up properly. Then refit the body so i can mark some points on the chassis to guide me with fitting the engine and box.

Considering its going to be built in a shed in Wales, from a wide selection of quality scrap materials its probably to a better standard than ladas

I think bigger wheels would make it look awesome. Like a small monster truck. Panda-Foot.....Pandigger.....Max-Panda

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
