Vitara keyfob

Post by Gers1971 » Wed Oct 27, 2021 6:19 am

Hi, I have a 2015 Vitara with keyless start stop keyfob but I,m looking to get a spare key done.
Tried many places and no one seems to be able to do it except the main dealer at £330.
Does anyone know of anyone that can do one online or anywhere in Glasgow area, thanks

We needed a spare key/remote fob for our 05 G Vitara - in the end we got it from our wee Perthshire Town Suzuki dealer, very nice guys.
We were originally quoted £260 for ours but eventually paid circa £230 because I managed to find the little aloominum tag with the key number on it,the local car locksmiths were quoting approx £300 for a replacement.
Presumably it would be a safer bet going to a Suzuki Dealer for a 2015 car ?car electrics/electronics are frighteningly complex these days LOL
IIRC they have a company down south who make the replacement keys,we got ours within a couple of days of payment and then 15 mins at the dealer whilst they 'matched'/'introduced' it to the car.
