I’ve been getting a 1985 SJ410 back running after 10 static years.
All going well until, to try and rectify a “bogging down” & very low power/torque issue, I removed the Carburettor and entirely stripped and cleaned it (mistake!). I used a repair kit to replace various bits and then put it back together and reinstalled it.
The car now only runs with the choke @ C20% closed, anything more open and it dies.
Does anyone have a link to info on this carb so I can workout what bit I’ve over or under tightened or done wrong
Or know what the issue could be (I only assume it’s some aspect of reassembly I got wrong)
All screws & adjustable pins etc appeared tight when I dismantled)
Thank you for anyone’s insight

Re: 1985 SJ410 Aisan Carb Issue
I’ll take pics/scan the carb section of the sj410 service manual for you on Sunday or Monday and post them up for you.

@ScottieJ - That's very kind. Thank you
I have the Haynes Manual but any further detail on the carb assembly would be hugely appreciated.
