Ah but the Rover V8 was originally designed and built by Buick. Rover bought the design and rights to it in the 60s so technically is an American engine

I knew about that, but Rover made alterations and turned it into the engine we all know and love (to hate at times too)
I doubt the P5 wouldv'e been half as popular without the V8.

R**** R****'s aren't that bad. They rust badly, as has my stepdad's D*********, but they sound good and go pretty well.
I'd still have a P5B coupe over either though and my SJ before a P5.
