yeah thats the filler. its a bit of a pain to get to. i bought a 600ml stainless steel syringe with a bit of tube on it. makes it so much easier to fill diffs and t-box aswell.

on the down side i think it was about £25

Im going to try and top up by gearbox without one... could end badly. Hosepipe and a funnel and i might get there. If not will borrow a pump from next door :)

Got free oil from him so he might bring me some more gearbox oil as well.

i tried with a funnel before i had the syringe and it was a total fail. took hours to go down.

was quite a small funnel connected to a bit of garden hose so maybe a bigger funnel and hose will let gravity have more of a chance

Took the gear stick off much easier.

Hopefully some oil fixes my whining noise. I hate EP90 its horrible.

Having to wait now, as just got back from the archery range. The gear box is still hot and the level plug won't come out untill its cooled down.

I used a little old fashioned oil can. The pump ones with a lever.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

I think the worst ep90 smell is when the oil in the diffs gets contaminated with water... that stuff STINKS when you take it out ;)

I also have an oil leak which is all down the offside of the engine, it looks like the rocker cover is leaking so have ordered a new gasket. On inspection the existing gasket seems to have been supplimented with silicon sealer so must always have leaked. A Suzuki specialist I spoke to says there is a general tendancy to overtighten the rocker cover bolts which can cause leaks due to distorting the gasket, only tighten to the recommended tension. All my engine and bay is very oily, dirty and grimy, are there any tips on a thorough way of cleaning?
