410 dizzy

seems the most bizzare thing but can i put a 410 points and condenser on my 1.6 vitara engine???

You could but why would you want to? The standard electronic ignition produces a stronger spark.

its back to being covert im afraid i may need to fit the 410 dizzy to armour my ( no its definately a 1000) arguement but thanks for the answer

I'm a bit confused by this reply :lol: I was just saying why would you want to swap it over to points when they are less reliable than the electronic ignition set up. The 413/vit dizzy and coil is a common upgrade for 410s and people often say that it makes the engine run a lot better. They also don't need replacing or setting up as often. I used to carry a set of feeler gauges with me at all times in case my points needed adjusting, it was a pain in the arse :lol:

Because his truck needs to look like a 410, even if the engine's capacity is 1.6, because he's not supposed to upgrade it.

Ah yeah I get it now :oops: I forgot that he wasn't allowed to mod his sj! well the dizzys look almost exactly the same from the outside

would they take the dizzy cap off in an inspection?

I suspect it'll be a quick look-see, but if the electronic ignition stuff's visible, then he'll have a problem.
