Tires and Wheels - thoughts?

Post by xiztrn » Sun Sep 11, 2011 10:06 am

Hey All,

Been a while...

Anyways, been looking online to find some larger tires, seeing whats around and for how much and have come across a wheel and tire package which looks to be a fairly good deal to me.

What are your thoughts on the following?

Thanks
Dan

PS - Twiss.... coz i am amazing and know everything... i mean fuck all.... ^ can i get the same size tires as that on my offset rims?

I wouldn't be putting those tyres on your rims. I'm pretty sure your rims are the same width as regular wheels and my 235x80r15s only JUST fit

They are also retreads, meaning they won't last as long on road as some premium tyres.

You can get kl71s or maxxis buckshots for a similar price and they aren't retreads. I know people who've run 31x10.50s on 7" wide rims with no problems.

I said the best bet would be to get some used ones... I got 5x KL71s for £170
